Throughout our lifetime, our
bodies register change. Lines and signs on our hands, grow as we evolve,
signifying the accumulated experience of our lives. |
Palmistry is a method of counseling that originated in China over 5,000
years ago. Some say it may even date back to prehistoric times. The
Chinese divination believes that the lines on the palms of the hand can
predict a person's fortune, attitude, health, character, marriage, and
more. They believed that the unique patterns of lines and signs in the
hand come into being as a direct result of the way we think.
The original intent of palmistry was for personality assessment and
counseling. Palmistry has held wide fascination with scholars, beginning
with Aristotle, whose interests in medicine and philosophy included
palmistry. Palmistry is divided into two subfields: cheirognomy
(concentrating on the fingers) and chiromancy (concentrating on the
palm). Learn more about palmistry from the
Palmistry Guide - obtainable from us at Mystic Guides.
We produce a variety of palmistry cards in various formats. They can be used to learn and identify the lines and markings on a person's hand as well as identifying hand types . The following is a list of the current Palmistry formats. Click on the small sun, at the left of the size, to see an example. The images will not be as clear as the originals and they may take a while to display due to size. Please be patient.
